Buying with Crypto? Things to know!

When buying on using Crypto Currency you'll have already agreed to our full Terms and Conditions, but just for fun we wanted to recap on 7 important points:

Please Note: At all times the official Terms and Conditions will take precedent over this handy guide.

  • 1 of 7 - Flubit Base Rate: By default our suppliers work in £GBP, we call this our Flubit Base Rate. This means all decisions about prices and refunds are always linked to the original value of £GBP at the point any action needs to happen. For example at the point you buy, we do a live exchange rate from £GBP>Selected Crypto Coin. If a coin has a discount on it "e.g. 10% off if you pay with MUE" the base rate may also be classed as discounted.

  • 2 of 7 - Beta: We're currently in Beta! What does this mean? Well, we're doing everything we can to give you a smooth and clean service with Crypto payments, but we can't guarantee there won't be a few hiccups along the way. We're always here to help!

  • 3 of 7 - Coins: We are constantly looking to add new coins however due to the nature of the industry, some coins that are available one day, may not be there the next.

  • 4 of 7 - Pay on Time: When you purchase an item using Crypto you are given a countdown timer. This timer is the time we need to both receive and have the network process your transfer. Please do make the payment straight away as if networks are congested we sometimes need the entire time to process your payment. If we don't receive the exact amount, your order is likely to be cancelled.

  • 5 of 7 - Refunds Part #1: If you request a refund, or for some reason we need to cancel your order, you should be eligible for the return of your money. You can currently choose to receive refunds in £GBP, BitCoin or MUE (if you paid in MUE). Sometimes it's possible to get the original currency returned if we haven't converted it to our base rate already.

  • 6 of 7 - Refunds Part #2Remember 1 of 7 where we talked about the Flubit Base Rate? This is where this really becomes important! If your currency has already been converted into £GBP, and you request your refund in BitCoin (BTC), we may send you the amount of BTC for the conversion of GBP at that exact time the refund takes place. This may be more or less (depending on the rate) from the point in time you paid. If you are worried it will be less, you can always request in £GBP and change it yourself at a later date. We need a UK bank account to send you £GBP, if you live abroad you can get one easily at

  • 6 of 7 - Refunds Part #3Finally, unlike Credit/Debit card payments currently Crypto Currency refunds can't work automatically. To get a refund you'll need to request it. When you are in a position to request it, we'll tell you how to do this!
